In general, of course there are exceptions on both sides, BUT vireos tend to be more purposeful in their movements. They fly to branch and stay there a few moments and then fly to another branch and stay there (fly and land). Most warblers are constantly moving when they are feeding (fly and feed). Also after many observations of these groups, the vireos will just look bigger, maybe even stocker with a bigger bill. Of course they are exceptions-Swainson's Warblers bill is large and Bell's Vireo small. BUT in general Vireos appear or as they say it impressions is that they are larger and more purposeful in there feeding.
