"Parrots of the World" by Joseph Forshaw and "Parrots" by Tony Juniper and Mike Parr are the two comprehensive parrot identification guides currently available. Both were reviewed by Bill Pranty in the current (March/April) issue of Birding (from the American Birding Association).
