Fifteen birders braved the weather forecast and and early morning showers to enjoy what turned out to be a beatifully cool & dry morning for birding. Highlights included White-Crowned Pigeon, Pileated Woodpecker, calling Screech Owl, Great-Crested Flycatcher, Gray Kingbird, a beautiful spring plumage male Magnolia & Cape May warbler, Black-throated Blue, Black & White, and Prarie warblers. Added excitement were the exotics which included, Chestnut-Fronted Macaw, Red-Masked & Mitred Conyers, White-Fronted Parrot, Yellow-Chevron Parakeets and a pair of Blue & Yellow Macaws as we ended the morning. All enjoyed a delightful mornig especially Claire from Seatle who chalked up twelve lifers.
