As an employee of Green Cay I support the information that everyone provided.

As for wheelchair info: We do not have any loaner wheelchairs and will not be obtaining any due to liability. We do have one in case of emergency only and unfortunately, I have had to use it to pick up a few people in the hot summer heat.

I hope you enjoy your visit. And though our nature center hours are limited (due to school field trips and adult group presentations) we are always around to answer questions 8:30am to 5:00 pm by phone (561)966-7000.

Of interest bird wise, the Roseate Spoonbills are still making appearances, only 1 yesterday. Also on the Cypress island we have had some Wilson's Snipe, over a dozen Black-necked Stilts, and a few other shorebirds: Lesser Yellowlegs and Killdeer showing up. The two Limpkin chicks are still hanging in there as of yesterday.
