Having accompanied Paul L let me add that you will find it helpful to have a riser cushion as the top rail and slat are just about even eyesight level. I would suggest about 3-5 inches. Swotch backs are common on both trails so cross viewing will also be easy. Overhead warblers will be very easy and "rain shed" pavillions are within close distance on both.
And if joggers annoy you, tell them to "hesh ep"!
