I can't answer your question but the Spot-breasted Oriole is a mythic bird for me... the kind that you believe it does not exist.
I've been in Florida many times and birded good spots for that bird, but I never could see one.
It's hard for me to take the opportunity, but... :-)))
Do you have a sure spot!
I will be in Florida wednesday night for one week.
