The tail seems to be showing a white edge to me, I don't think that we're just seeing the feather shaft. The last photo seems to show it most clearly. You're only looking for the outer web of the outer rectrix, which is quite narrow. Another feature supporting Western is the pattern of the wing coverts. A Cassin's should have bolder pale edges to the coverts making it look more scaly than this.
