Trey was ABOUT to quit when I bumped into him. We were walking the neighborhood a bit, then heard an unfamiliar call. I turned around, and saw a bird fly into the bottlebrush tree. I spotted the Bananaquit and Trey quickly found it too! New lifers for both of us! I then went to Green Cay and Wakodahatchee. Caloosa Birding Club was at Wakodahatchee with 48 birders! We had nice views of baby great blue herons and anhinga at Wakodahatchee. Green Cay is full of Purple Martins. I also saw purple gallinules in both wetlands.
