You've done well pilgrim! Okeeheelee is probably one of the most under-appreciated places in the area. The indigo buntings should appear shortly. The amazing thing is that all the big quick action is within a 30 x 30 foot area. I was bemused by your frustration with lighting...it is quite a challenge for photographers as are the scores of squirrels. Did the sandhill cranes come croaking? Can we assume that your visit to Florida has been productive? With this good weather now you might want to explore some of the other sites listed on the TAS page. Don't let the names such as "dump marsh" put you off. Great photo ops there. Also watch for crocidiles in the roadside canals.
