Large numbers of red-winged blackbirds were displaying and an increasing number of yellow-rumped warblers were in the cypress. Also there were frequent sightings of common yellowthroats and the palm warblers were omni-present. There were enough wood storks over flying Wakodahatchee as well as Green Cay to make a person wonder about the "endangered species" label.

Chicks of anhingas and great blues are progressing well. The alligator population has increased. And, we also saw many exotic lizards taking the morning sun.
