1/31 afternoon at Green Cay - had to be patient and follow a Limpkin parent carrying a snail, but finally located the holding area and watched all five babies follow their parents into the weeds. This was, as you indicated, close to the snag, but past the first gazebo to get a good view. A first for me - I had only seen the young in pictures before. From the sound of it, there are many other nests around here, too ;)
