Yes the Brown-Headed Nuthatches were at 3 Lakes - the area where the 5 or so banded pines are. My friend Noreen O'Brien in Maine writes: "these birds are included in Jeff Wells Birder s Conservation Handbook: 100 North American Birds at Risk. Jeff Wells is a Maine bird scientist.
I can't wait to go back and find some red-cockaded woodpeckers, and some caracaras at Overstreet.
