Birds in the wild have markedly shorter lifespans than those in captivity. Once they are in the wild, they face many hazards that are absent in captivity. I doubt that where they were raised makes any positive difference (negative is more likely as they would lack the full range of survival skills).

Larger hawks typically have longer lifespans than smaller. It would be quite extraordinary to have a Great Black-Hawk in the wild that lived as long as even 20 years (the current record for Common seems to be 13.5).
