A friend who lives in the west remarked that he was amazed that bald eagles in Florida have already nested. He asked if I knew why. Though I do not know for sure, I think it is because the food is plentiful late in the year. Does anyone know the correct answer and the actual breeding and nesting habits of Florida Bald Eagles? This link is an eagle cam located in Pt. St. Lucie. I read in the paper that the egg is expected to hatch this week (hopefully)!
