I'd have to agree with you Larry. American Coots seem to be the dumbest birds when it comes to the whole predator v. prey thing. Almost every time we go to STA-5, we see either a Bald Eagle or a Pergerine Falcon grab an AMCO. All the other birds flee in terror but not the coots. Easy pickings indeed!
