On March 18 Rafael Galvez, Alison Brovold and I headed out to John Boyd's trusty railroad spot off of Krome ave. Walking ~200m in either direction from where the railroad crosses over the road parallell to the C-1W canal, the following FANTASTIC birds were still being seen!
20+ Indigo buntings (many females and several molting males)
10+ Blue grosbeaks (females)
6+ Dickcissels!!!
1 painted bunting (Female)

Cheers
David LaPuma

Here are John's directions (THANKS JOHN!!!!):

Site #2: Railroad tracks near Krome Ave.
Drive S on Krome from Kendall Dr. for a bit less
than 2 miles, until you get to the C-1W canal.
Turn W along the S side of the canal and park near
the railroad tracks (do not block road). The birds
have been seen within 200 yards N and S of the
canal, along the tracks.
