I saw a black-bellied whistling duck there on the morning of Dec 31... I heard some whistling that I didn't recognize, and turned around to see it flying across the boardwalk. I was quite surprised, as I had never seen one or heard of one on the Anhinga Trail.
I've been on the road back to Arkansas, so this is the first chance I've had to report it.
