According to the Miami CBC map, that location is within the count circle. In the 38-year history of the Miami CBC, Great Horned Owl has been recorded only once. If only you had heard or seen them on Tuesday night, we could have included the sighting for count week. Oh well, maybe next year!
Within suburban Miami-Dade, Great Horned Owls have been recorded at a number of locations, including Matheson Hammock, Kendall Indian Hammock and Bill Sadowski Parks.
