GHOs in Little Havana/Shenandoah area

I have lived in the same apartment in Shenandoah for over two years and only once before observed a Great Horned Owl calling in the neighborhood (December two years ago). I live directly behind the Bell South building near the corner of SW 17th Avenue and Coral Way.

At 11 PM last night there was a GHO hooting in the neighborhood. An hour later, there were two GHOs perched and hooting on the Bell South telephone tower. They stayed around for at least a half an hour. I believe this is the time of year when the owls are beginning their courtship and searching for potential nest sites.

Has anyone known them to nest in such urban areas in Miami (or urban areas in general)?
