Looks like a Horned Grebe to me too but I've been wrong before when it comes to these critters! The Ft. Myers' CBC team whose area is Bunche Beach will look for this bird tomorrow, Monday, December 17th, on our CBC. If worst comes to worst, we can count it as a "cw" Count Week bird thanks to you and your cool photo! Same goes for the Long-billed Curlew. You did see it, right? It's been a hit-or-miss bird since October when it returned for about the third year in a row. Some days it's easy and other days it's a no show. . . .
