Cedar Waxwings are very irruptive, so next year you may find even more. I have noticed only a couple waxwings this winter, but last year several flocks all together about 150 birds stayed in the Morningside area in Miami. This year about 20 birds alltogether. If you have a fruiting tree, they will come. They are actually pretty small. The "zeeeee" they give when in flight gives them a 100% identification.
