I really doubt that there was a Fulvous Whistling Duck at Green Cay. Most likely it was one of the juvenile Black-bellied Whistling Ducks hatched this past summer that was mistakenly identified as a Fulvous. In their juvenile plumage, they can look somewhat like a Fulvous Whistling Duck.
This past Saturday we saw the following at Green Cay:
Bufflehead Duck (female)
Prairie Warbler
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (x3 females)
Catbird
Northern Harrier
