A and M--Just as well you didn't go--I drove down to hopefully take pictures of a scissor tailed flycatcher hovering, and stopped at LH somewhere around 8 am, where I was told by the assembled throng that the owl had evidently not made an appearance this morning(or at least hadn't been seen.)The local highlight came later when John Boyd spied a Wilson's warbler(I was too slow with the camera). I then headed to 217th ave and took the pictures of one semi cooperative scissor tailed near the Lennar development. It stayed up on the wire, and chose not to perch on the fence(a la Trey's wonderful picture), but at least I got some shots of its underwing color nicely lit.
