First of all I live in Pompano and don't know Miami that well. I have heard a lot of references to the Baptist Hospital Area. I would like to drive down some morning and go to Barnes which I keep reading about on this board, and then before heading home I thought I would check out the hospital area for Parrots and Maybe the Bulbul which I heard can be found in the neighborhood to the north of the hospital. I would really appreciate any advice as to where to look once I get to the hospital parking lot, and what neighborhood to look in, (is it safe to walk around the neighborhood with binoculars or am I asking for trouble). Like I said, I don't know the area at all.
I have also been reading a lot about Cutler Wetlands but can't quite figure out where it is . I am jealous of all the good spots it seems like you have down there.
