Well, I didn't ver find the Wilson's or the Bell's, but I did get TWO lifers this morning!
As Brian mentioned the least flycatcher was the first and the second was a Life Lep- The black and white Mimic butterfly!
The Mimic fluttered by as I was trying to focus on the Philly vireo at the annex!!
Also seen at the Annex were three Harriers-this time two of them gorgeous grey males and a field full of Kestrels. In one pass of the bins I counted more than a dozen Kestrels just "planted" in the north field.Too Funny.
My count for the morning (2.5 hours)-Lucky Hammock and the Annex:
Least flycatcher
Eastern wood peewee
Northern Flicker
Eastern Kingbird
Prairie
Parula
Common Yellow Throat
BTB (male)
Indigo
PABU
Yellow throated warbler
Palm Warbler
BGG
Redstart
Ovenbird
Tennessee
White Eyed vireo
Red eyed vireo
Philly vireo
Northern Harrier
Kestrel
Grounded American crow
Gr.Yellowlegs
Osprey and Woodstorks kettling with Black vultures
Catbirds galore
MIMIC butterfly
