Sounds like possible Rufous. As for Black-chinned, these are regulars in the Panhandle, but extremely rare elsewhere in the state. Since I've been birding, there's been one highly probable (Fairchild) and one found by some reliable birders that I later saw at Castellow Hammock, but remains only probable since no photos exist. In other words, we do not have a documented sighting of a Black-chinned in Dade.
