A very brief stop at the Hammock today 10 am-ish produced a catbird, RS Hawk, a world-class singer BG gnatcatcher, and a bright Prairie Warbler. There were lots of promising sounds in the scrubby areas (possible Ovenbird) but no time to get any other ID's.
I'll be doing a bird count at Green Cay late Thursday and I'm crossing my fingers that I'll get more migrants - maybe the catbirds will finally show up there again!
