I went to the Ft. Lauderdale airport this morning and one smooth-billed ani was present, sitting on the fence above the cocoplum hedge at the perimeter of the airport. I had parked in the lot described in the original posting (I-95 to Griffin Rd east to 10th, turn left at 10th deadends into parking lot for small park). I walked from the parking lot to the fence overlooking the airport, the ani was perched on the fence above the cocoplum hedge about 30 yards to the left (west).
