I would like to be able take bird photos like those that I see posted on this site. I am currently using a 12X optical zoom point and shoot digital camera and would appreciate any advice about what digital SLRs and zoom lenses would be good for bird photos. I have tried going to photo shops and all they do is try to sell me the most expensive equipment. Thanks.
