I think your remarks have mostly proved my point. Your numbers don't come from looking at typical results, only selected results.
I can select too! Consider the Sadowski NAMC. Only 6 warbler sp. in 2006, 9 warbler sp. this year. Up 50%! Wow!
More seriously, what we have been getting is typical migration in the absence of any weather that brings the birds down. No tropical waves, depressions, storms, or hurricanes, no fronts, west winds, or even normal rain = no fallout.
