I used to lead a TAS walk at the ESL each year, usually in February. Keep an eye out for a family of Great Horned Owls that were fairly common there.
Also a couple of exotics that I've spotted there many times (I used to be there every weekend) are a Helmeted Turaco and a Ground Hornbill. If you hear a cuckoo, track it down, it might be the Turaco (if it's still there). It would be high in the canopy.
