Yesterday morning I took a 10 minute walk in the back woods and saw very little, just a few Blue-grey Natcatchers, Mockingbird, and a jay or two.
This morning I did the same, but was rewarded with more birds foraging in the tops of the oaks, mahoganies & tamarids. I observed 3 female & 1 male Redstarts, B&K Warbler, Prairie Warbler, Brown Thrasher, and Worm-eating Warbler/Palm Warbler?.
The morning air was a little cooler & drier with a 'light, airy feel' like, maybe fall is around the corner?
