I wrote this almost 10 years ago "The TAS Miami Bird Board should be used only to report and discuss bird and nature observations in Florida. Requests for other information and website suggestions should be made using the TAS Contact page. Thank you!"
All animals are NOT OFF TOPIC as far as I'm concerned, but at the time there was a bunch of spam, oooops there's still spam and John is kicking butt in keeping it off here, day by day, he daily deletes those "ads"... so don't think this board is so pristine :) on a daily basis. I volunteered to keep it clean while John was on vacation recently and it was a major effort/job.
Just my 5 cents and a bow to a guy who's doing it for free...
