Thank you Angel & Maria, Paul the other, Georgiana and Tricia for your words of encouragement regarding Herps. I respect eveyone on this TAS board and I did not want to "ruffle any feathers" posting herp questions. I've had one reply with a web site suggestion and it turned out to be a good one...http://www.fieldherpforum.com. It's a national forum but breaks into regions too.
Also, my son and I attend the Sawgrass Herpetological Society meetings. I believe they used to be the Everglades Herp Society. The membership is very, very small group but they're trying to build it up. If you're interested they meet the first Wednesday of each month, 7:30pm, at Fern Forest Park in Coconut Creek.
