Tuesday morning it was still hot and humid ;)
The Black-necked Stilts have returned! I hadn't seen them since their early unsuccessful attempts to nest at Wakodahatchee and Green Cay. There was a family with an immature stilt and a flyover of a group of 10+. I guess they are headed north?
Also seen - Black-bellied Whistling Ducks, Black-crowned Night Heron, Red-shouldered Hawk, Osprey, Female Redstart, Gnatcatcher, Kingfisher.
