The Upland Sandpiper field Toe reported on the 31st has been plowed, but the birds remain in the grassy field directly to the east of the irrigation sprinkler. There are 7 of them, and very hard to approach, as they always are. They stay in the highest grasses, run away like quail, and I couldn't get any decent pictures. At least down here there aren't Star/Duda goons running you off.
