Here's a photo of the immature Wood Duck I saw at Cutler Wetlands last Sunday. I crossed the road to look at the pond when I saw several Black-necked Stilts flying in, and was surprised to see this guy swimming in the reeds behind them. This was right before a thunderstorm hit, so my attempt to get a closer photo was foiled by much rain. I'm so happy to contribute to the Cutler Wetlands bird list! What a great place.

And, thanks to all you posters for documenting sightings of Florida specialties and sharing news about birdy wetlands and parking lots. I come down to Florida several times a year and this board has been invaluable in making my limited birding time productive and fun. Plus, as I told Toe, you guys are funny!
