As cool as it was to see so many birds,I wanted to see one perched.
We waited and watched specks in the sky as they acrobatically hunted insects in the distance.
Rain clouds started gathering in the area, bringing the kites lower.
We moved closer to watch them fly over the ENP rock all the while with several birds calling loudly.
School was in session for the new kids !
The sky got darker and the kites flew into the park looking like a bunch of kids playing follow the leader, one kite forward and the kids flying behind.
Soon they landed in the pines-seventeen in one tree , seven in another and stragglers scattered about.
What an awesome sight!!!
