The only problem with the rescuing of these felines is that they are very often neutered or spayed and released into "cat colonies" ..there is a big one at Miami-Dade College in Kendall. I sincerely wish there were legislation to prevent this, they are NOT native species.
Other than that, I suggest a large Burmese python, I used to have friends who had one named "Baby" who was 8 feet long...
