Awesome find, we recently observed two loggerheads playing in the surf about 15 feet from the shore. It was great to see the turtles at a close proximity. We were fishing the surf when we noticed the two splashing, the would peek at us for a couple of seconds and then they would go back under. It was trully an amazing experience. We were able to get some video footage of the two. Sorry about the snook getting away, I know how it feels to lose the big one!
