After Paul's post I decided to go out and check. They were still there. Mom had moved them in the shade of another cypress about 2 feet away.
I also saw the bobcat on my way back in. The bobcat was near the boardwalk. The nighthawks are in the far right corner. They are close to the bank of the standing water.
