Trey,
you could call Parrot Jungle,Seaquarium (where I once was in charge of the flamingo flock)and other local areas that may have a few birds.
But it would be a waste of time as surely all of the captive birds are pinioned and unable to fly far.
Hialeah is going to be the only real possibility,and frankly I don't believe this is one of their birds.
Wouldn't it be nice if we could just accept that this is now and has probably always been a wild bird?
BTW -Jeff to the best of my knowledge all flamingos stamp their feet and swing their bills to filter feed. We used some soft and pelleted type food but mixed it with water and the canthanthaxin to make a VERY orange slurry.
(If you eat too much vitamin A , you too can be captive bird orange!)
