We have been seeing large numbers of Greater shearwaters and lesser numbers of Cory's and Audubon's from shore along the central east coast. Reports have come from Ponce Inlet to Jensen Beach. Some of the birds are feeding around inlets or even drifting inland on the tides. Others are feeding in nearshore waters. Nearly all of the birds, when not feeding or resting, are flying south. I am curious to see how far south the birds are being seen.
