It isn't the camera that matters but the person behind the camera that determines if a photo is a so-so snapshot i.e. point-and-shoot "picture" or a work of art. If nature photography is what you're after, then anyone would be well served to read any of John Shaw's books. Technique is probably more important than the name brand of the camera or lens one decides to use. Just my 2-cents. . . .
