I'm puzzled as to why both Rufous-sided and Eastern Towhee appear in your list. Rufous-sided Towhee was the name used for this species before it was split into two species, Eastern Towhee (our bird) and Spotted Towhee (from the western US). Was there something different about the call or song of the bird you ID'd as Rufous-sided? Just wondering.
