You can add a white morph Short-tailed Hawk (wings and tail feathers very worn) and Peregrine Falcon to the day-list. The Bahama Mockingbird was beeing seen all day long just north of the green ribbon and check out the picnic areas from the overflow parking lot. Rock, Scott and I had crippling looks at a male Connecticut Warbler feeding there in the open. The Boy Scout camp was also very birdy. Warblers were dripping from the trees. I had my first Connecticut there on May 13, 1989. Also lots of shorebirds feeding in the seaweed along Hobie beach - many in alternate plumage.Life is good................. witnessing the natural phenomena called bird migration.
