Good evening,

Chris Wood, who is leading his annual spring tour to southern Florida with WINGS, just called to say thta he and his group rediscovered (presumably the same) Loggerhead Kingbird (pending acceptance by the state and national records committees, of course) at Stock Island.

The bird was along US-1 at the jct of Cross Street to the south. North of the road is the Stock Island Golf Course. The kingbird was with several other tyrannids (Scissor-tailed Flycatchers, Western Kingbirds) and presumably was roosting with them somewhere in the area.
