On this date in 05, I got 12 warbler species during my lunch break at the Whyndham Hotel on Griffin Rd and I-95: in the courtyard!. What's more, there were bunches of them all over the place, and a bunch of yellow-billed cuckoos. I went to H.T. Birch after the meeting late in the afternoon and added two more, plus all the ones I already had, and a Veery (see TAS Bird Board post 4/25/05). I haven't seen numbers of individuals like that this year, with all due respects to "The Tree" at A.D. Barnes. This IS a slow spring migrattion; slower than average. Thats' all I have to say about that.
