Thanks for posting for me Toe.
Aftter seeing how birdy Enchanted Forest was this morning I had to check out Barnes. Almost all the birds were congregated around "The Tree". Among the catbirds, thrushes, Black-throated Blue, Blakpoll, and Cape May Warblers in the fig, there were also two male Scarlet Tanagers and two Rose-breasted Grosbeaks.

One of the House Finches reported early this year was singing right near the Tree, as well. It allowed me to get pretty close to it, within ten feet. I still think it's an escape from the pet bird shop right across from Barnes...

I also went to look for the Blue Grosbeaks, but I guess they don't like Raggeaton and Bounce-houses, because they were nowhere to be seen.
