Forecast calls for west winds tonight, which although not strong, may help drop some birds. The cold front last weekend helped bring about that mini fallout we had.

Birded Barnes this morning for an hour with Trey and Bill and it appears most of the little flock that was around this weekend has left. Some residual birds around, but nothing new seems to have come in.

If you are wondering where the migrants are, check out the Texas report on www.birdingonthe.net. Hooded and Kentucky Warblers in large numbers in people's yards. They also had a run on Tanagers and Orioles. We haven't seen large numbers of the Atlantic species yet, such as BTB and Blackpoll, so we should get our share pretty soon. Where are the thrushes?
